Did you know that Plantar Fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain?
The plantar fascia is the flat band of tissue (ligament) that connects your heel bone to your toes. It supports the arch of your foot and when it becomes strained it may become weak, swollen, and inflamed. Plantar Fasciitis is usually characterised by pain with the first few steps in the morning that improves once you ‘warm up’ and aches at the end of the day or after sitting down then getting back up.
Fear not, at Foot Faults Podiatry we have treatment options available to help you combat that heel pain and get you back on your feet!
