Research has found that keeping a diary of your exercise can help you stick to a programme. Buy a separate diary and track all the exercise you do including stats such as distance covered, your time and heart rate – this will all vary depending on the exercise you are doing. Make sure you mark an X on the days that you missed – a simple visual tool to keep you on course.
