Charli Hutchins

Senior Podiatrist

My career as a Podiatrist has been fuelled by my passion for helping people of all ages.

From children to the elderly, I believe Podiatry has its purpose for everyone, and I enjoy the challenges in working with clients of varying ages and abilities to help them achieve their movement goals.

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending my time with my husband, two little boys and our very lazy Labrador.

Three things to know about me are that I am a dog person, a lover of shoe shopping and I have a strong bias towards drinking Tasmanian wine.

  • My favourite way to keep fit these days is by jogging, pilates and swinging kettlebells.

Pre-family life, I have had a passion for contact sports such as waterpolo, boxing, kickboxing, krav maga and brazilian jiu jitsu.

    • Foot and leg pain

    • Sporting injuries

    • Children’s Podiatry

  • I graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) at the end of 2007. I have since worked in multiple private podiatric and allied health practices across Southeast Queensland and Melbourne. In 2017, I moved to New York and had the pleasure of working alongside both Orthopaedic and Podiatric Surgeons which really opened my eyes to the key role podiatry has in rehabilitation.

I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of podiatry and have particular interest in injury and post surgical rehabilitation and assisting people living with chronic illness and disability.

I maintain memberships with the Australian Podiatry Association and also the APodA Paediatrics Special Interest Group. These memberships enable me to keep up to date with changes within the profession and provide me with access to ongoing education.
