Cooper Redhead
Podiatrist
My passion for running began in high school, where I competed in cross-country and athletics. Over time, this passion grew into a deeper interest in running performance, injury prevention and the role that footwear and biomechanics play in helping athletes reach their potential.
While studying podiatry, I worked in a running shoe store, where I developed a fascination with running shoe technology and how different designs influence comfort, movement and performance. I still love keeping up with the latest advancements in cushioning, stability, shoe geometry and materials, and exploring how the right footwear can support runners at every level.

Running and road cycling remain a big part of my own life, giving me a personal appreciation of the demands of endurance sport and the importance of balancing performance with recovery. I enjoy bringing this perspective into my clinical practice while continually learning more about how we can move efficiently, perform at our best and reduce the risk of injury.

Since becoming a podiatrist, I’ve gained experience treating a wide range of foot and lower-limb conditions, with a particular interest in running biomechanics and persistent running-related injuries. I enjoy looking beyond the site of pain to understand the bigger picture, considering factors such as movement patterns, strength, training loads and footwear. My goal is to help people get to the root of their injuries, return to the activities they love and keep moving with confidence.

Outside the clinic and training, you’ll often find me hiking or camping. Getting outdoors, exploring new trails and switching off from the usual routine is my favourite way to recharge and prepare for the next challenge.
