Justin Hogg

Director / Senior Podiatrist

Justin has always loved running. As a junior middle distance and cross country runner he competed at the national titles, went on junior altitude training camps and was lucky enough to train with runners that went onto world juniors, commonwealth games and the olympics.

Developing a keen interest in the biomechanics of running, Justin realised that a career in Podiatry would enable him to help runners, and others, keep active and achieve their full potential. He graduated from QUT in 2006 and persued a job in rural northern NSW which gave him the opportunity to treat varied and complicated podiatry patients.

He established Foot Faults 10 years ago; Podiatry clinics that specialise in sports podiatry and foot and leg pain, having experienced, first hand as a runner, how debilitating this can be. Justin is currently enrolled in the Australian Podiatry Association Specialist Sports Podiatrist Program and is a member of the Australian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

Justin opened Brisbane Running Analysis Centre (located at Foot Faults Upper Mount Gravatt) in 2017. Here Justin and the team combine advanced biomechanical assessment skills with the latest in computerised gait analysis technology to help clients improve performance and reduce the risk of future injury.

Justin has spent time with indigenous health, the homeless, olympic athletes, special schools, thousands of social runners and plenty of mums who have been run off their feet by their children.

When he's not busy fixing feet, Justin can be found spending time with his wife and 2 young children, or staying active participating in social triathlons, fun runs, fishing and surfing.
