Callum Davies
History-making Australian middle-distance champion and exercise science specialist.
Callum first hit the radar as a standout junior cross-country and track athlete, eventually becoming the sole Australian to reach the 1500m final at the 2018 World U20 Championships.
Since transitioning to the senior ranks, he has cemented his name in the history books. In 2023, he became the first Australian man since the legendary John Landy in 1956 to win both the 1500m and 5000m national titles in the same year, and he just recently added a 2026 national 3000m title to his resume. Off the track, he uses his background in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Queensland to optimize his performance, focusing heavily on biomechanics and running efficiency.
If you’re a nerd for running biomechanics, deep-dive discussions on calf strength and gait efficiency, and watching a historic multi-distance champion go to work, Callum is definitely worth following on Instagram.
