Justin Hogg

Senior Podiatrist | Director

I have always loved running. As a junior middle distance and cross country runner, I ran at a national level all through school and into university. I was lucky enough to train with, attend altitude camps with and be surrounded by some of the best runners, allied health practioners and coaches that progressed to World Juniors, Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.

As a result I developed a keen interest in the biomechanics of running. I realised that a career in Podiatry would enable me to help runners, and others, keep active and achieve their full potential. I now also use this skillset to help clients living with disabilities be more active and achieve their full potential too.

  • Staying active has always been a very important part of my life. I still enjoy running socially and going to the gym each morning.

I enjoy daily walks and bike rides with my wife, Emma, and my children; Leo, Toby and Isla. I’m also a keen surfer and fisherman and will be out on the water any chance I get .

  • I graduated from QUT in 2006 and initially pursued a job in rural northern NSW which gave me the opportunity to treat varied and complicated podiatry patients.

I started Foot Faults in 2009. Having experienced, first hand as a runner, how debilitating Foot and Leg pain can be, I wanted to create Podiatry clinics that specialised in Sports Podiatry. The RunClinic at Foot Faults first opened in 2017.

I am also a level 1 ASCA registered strength and conditioning coach.

I work with a full range of runners from weekend warriors, Mum’s (run off their feet by their children), to competitive runners including Elite triathletes and Olympians. I also work with disabilities that suffer from gait disorders.
